Whistler and Taxes

Over Presidents Day weekend we headed up to Whistler BC to do our taxes and spend the weekend.

We stayed with our friends in a lovely condo in the village. Dave was still out of town working on the Wicked Tour so we had to go without him (bummer) Keegan joined us instead. (not a bummer)

We spent the first whole day exploring, nature walking in the amazing weather, checking out the new cultural center and sorting out Pete for a day at Whistler Kids.

The 2nd day we skied our butts off. We dropped Pete off, it was then that I realized what rich people do with their children. I dropped him off at 8amish and didn't pick him up until 3:30. I didn't have to make a lunch or send anything with him. (wierd) The lady in the full length fir coat, pj pants and uggs made me laugh....out loud....hard....still laughing.

Keegan, Alex and I headed to the top. Big mountain skiing rocks. We would get going so fast and yet there was plenty of room to keep the speed crankin'. We rode the Peak to Peak gondola after lunch...Awesome. 150 stories above the valley floor. The skies were clear blue and the air temp sub 0 C.

The last run of the day was top to bottom and Alex didn't miss a beat. It was a great weekend. SO glad to spend mindless fun time with my daughter. And to spend the last ski trip that Keegan will make before she welcomes the new baby.
